Vendor Spotlight: Madawaska to Quebec to Florida and the Carribean!

Making their PoutineFest debut at Vermont PoutineFest last year, they jumped right in and quickly won over our Poutiniacs with their passion for authentic poutine and French-Canadian comfort foods.

Owned by a Mainer from Madawaska who moved to Vermont for college, they bring Aroostook County to the Green Mountains.

The authenticity of their gravy is very noticeable!

One of our favorite parts of PoutineFest is discovering new vendors that become part of our family, and Chez Poutine has done exactly that. We can't wait to see what they're bringing to New Hampshire as they battle for the coveted 22-pound Championship Belt and the People's Choice Award.

If you missed them in Vermont, now's your chance!

Some restaurants become institutions, and Leunig's Bistro is one of them.

Located in Burlington's iconic Church Street Marketplace, Leunig's has been serving guests since 1980 with classic French bistro cuisine, incredible hospitality, and a commitment to giving back to the community. Their Parisian-inspired atmosphere has made them one of Vermont's most beloved dining destinations for decades.

Of course, our Poutiniacs know them for something else...Duck Confit Poutine!!

Crispy fries, rich duck confit, cheese curds, and savory duck gravy. It's a poutine that perfectly blends French culinary tradition with Vermont flavor, and it's one we always recommend trying when you're in Burlington.

Beyond the amazing food, we love supporting restaurants that support their communities.

Leunigs has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to local causes and continues to be a champion for arts, health, and organizations throughout the Champlain Valley. That's exactly the kind of partner we love celebrating.

We made friends in the poutine world from Quebec all the way to Florida! This year, we're bringing those friends to New Hampshire!

Meet Fromagerie du Presbytère and Southies' New England Style Eatery!

When we launched Vermont PoutineFest last year, one of the vendors that absolutely blew people away was Fromagerie du Presbytère.

Known throughout Quebec for producing exceptional artisan cheeses, they're bringing the "real" thing to Granite State PoutineFest. Their fresh cheese curds are the kind that squeak, melt just enough under hot gravy, and remind you why authentic poutine starts with incredible ingredients.

We're excited to welcome them to the 'Shire after absolutely crushing it in Burlington last year.

How about some Florida Poutine Vibes? Southies' New England Style Eatery's owners grew up on both sides of the border, in New Hampshire and Quebec. They fully understand American preferences, but how to add that Quebec zip to poutine #gravysnob!

They brought those family traditions to South Florida, serving hand-cut fries, authentic Québécois gravy, and fresh cheese curds to a loyal following that keeps coming back weekend after weekend.

When they head north for the summer, they bring that same authentic recipe home to New Hampshire.

No frozen fries. No shortcuts. Just honest, classic poutine made the way it should be.

We're excited to welcome Southies' New England Style Eatery PoutineFest for the very first time. We hope you visit them here in NH or when you're down in Florida!Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

One of our favorite parts of PoutineFest is meeting people who had a dream, took a chance, and built something incredible. That's exactly the story behind MacDaddy's Seafood & Tots, and we're excited to welcome them back to Maine PoutineFest this September.

Back in 2017, Chris MacDonald and his wife Amanda decided to chase a dream. They emptied their savings, used the cash they received from their wedding, refinanced a car, bought an old trailer, and hit the road. That's how MacDaddy's Seafood & Tots was born.

The MacDonald family knows seafood. Chris grew up in a family that has spent more than 20 years in Maine's seafood industry, and that experience shows in every meal they serve. From fresh fried clams and scallops to haddock, lobster rolls, and their family's secret recipe clam cakes, they're committed to serving some of the freshest seafood you'll find anywhere.

Then there are the tots! Maybe the best we've had at a PoutineFest!

Chris jokes that he actually "didn't like tater tots growing up". It wasn't until college, when he discovered what happened when they were cooked the right way in a fryer, that he became hooked.

Today, loaded tots have become one of MacDaddy's signature specialties, including their delicious Pork Poutine, piled high with crispy tots, fresh cheese curds, homemade beef gravy, slow-smoked Boston pork, another generous ladle of gravy, and fresh green onions.

What we appreciate most is the gratitude that comes through in their story. On their website, they say they're thankful for every community they've served and continue learning every season. That's exactly the kind of family business we love introducing to our Poutiniacs.

Give them a visit sometime! You'll often find then at Congdon's After Dark!

For the first time in PoutineFest history, a vendor will be serving a Caribbean-inspired poutine, and we could not be more excited to welcome New England Iron Pollo to Maine PoutineFest!

Founded by Alberto Mateo, New England Iron Pollo brings together Caribbean flavors, Maine food traditions, and years of culinary experience.

Their specialty is tender, flavorful cast-iron chicken made with homemade marinades and bold Latin-Caribbean seasonings.

Now, they are taking on an entirely new challenge: creating their first-ever Caribbean poutine at PoutineFest.

This is exactly what PoutineFest is all about. We honor the traditional Québécois dish we love while giving talented chefs the opportunity to share their own culture, creativity, and story through poutine. Cultural fusion at its best!

We cannot wait to see what Alberto and his team create. One thing is certain: this will be a poutine unlike anything we have ever served before.

Welcome to the PoutineFest family, New England Iron Pollo!!
