Light of the North Cultural Grants
PoutineFest was created to celebrate more than a dish. It celebrates the culture, language, and traditions of the Franco-American communities that helped shape New England.
Through the support of the Light of the North Fund, PoutineFest is proud to launch a small grant program that helps bring this culture to life in new ways.
For the 2026–2027 grant cycle, funded projects will take place between October 2026 and September 2027.
Light of the North Cultural Grants
The Light of the North Fund supports projects that celebrate and strengthen Franco-American culture across New England. Through this fund, we recommend grants to nonprofit organizations working to preserve language, heritage, food traditions, and community life rooted in the French-Canadian experience. Our goal is simple: help bring the stories, traditions, and spirit of Franco communities into public life for a new generation.
