About Our Founder

Timothy Beaulieu

A man with short brown hair, wearing a dark blazer and a white pinstripe button-up shirt, standing outdoors with a blurred background of trees and possibly a river or lake.

PoutineFest was inspired by the stories of Tim’s Franco-American grandfather. After hearing about the amazing French-Canadian culture he grew up away from, Tim felt it was his mission to help a once-great culture return to the beautiful mosaic of New England.

After many trips to Montreal and observing an amazing operating model at the old Chicago PoutineFest, Tim came up with the idea of a large-scale poutine event to help the culture and initially benefit a deeply struggling nonprofit. This event became NH PoutineFest.

This idea has grown into a large-scale regional event that helps grow modern Franco-American culture and benefits organizations around the United States.
